Logo Design: CasePointe Creations

CasePointe Creations Logo

CasePointe Creations is a passion project turned business for local Huntersville, NC candle makers, Rodney and Kelly Case.

At the center of it all — their business, marriage, family history, and now their logo — is the representation of the Ocracoke Island lighthouse. Rodney’s family grew up going to the Outer Banks, and because the lighthouse was such a memorable location for him, he proposed to Kelly 24 years later in the same spot.

CasePointe Creations sells soy candles, soy wax melts and reed diffusers that are clean, non toxic and made with attention to detail. As a relatively new business, they wanted to jump right in and have a logo created that would set them off on the right aesthetic path. We went for clean and coastal, with a touch of luxury.

MOODBOARD

We love this. The colors and textures are exactly what we were looking for. The green and copper are very interesting and I like the concept of incorporating waves [or contour maps]. Timeless and organic are great words that we did not think of to describe what we want our brand to convey.

LOGO VERSIONS

We created several logo versions for CasePointe Creations so they could have a variety of options to use on their website, Etsy banners, social media images, and packaging.

MOCKUPS

Showing the final logo mark(s) and color palette in context is the best way to show our clients what they’re getting. Sometimes a one or two color logo can feel a bit “too simple” when shown on a blank page. Using mockups like stamps and signage is a great way to show versatility in design. There are always ways to elevate a logo or other brand marks through physical packaging and digital representation.
