When Kendle Starcher (owner of Neon Love Story) came to us with a vision of what she wanted her brand to look like, we were ecstatic and nervous at the same time. Pretty sure we have never played with so much color — but we took on the challenge! You’re not growing if it isn’t challenging, right? We had a lot of fun exploring different type treatments and graphic elements.
A few words to describe Neon Love Story are: joyful, colorful, bold, eclectic, refreshing, exciting, empowering, stylish, and of great quality.
Since this business has never had a “logo” or “brand identity” before, we really wanted to put those initial adjectives and feelings into the new look of Neon Love Story. This brand identity should be something that her customers can relate to and recognize immediately when shopping her products online or at pop-up markets.
As you dive deeper into the creation of Neon Love Story, you understand the mission and love the heart behind it. Kendle is doing a lot of social good by donating 10% of every purchase to an organization called A21. They are in the fight to eradicate human trafficking through awareness, intervention, and aftercare. They actually have an office right here in Charlotte, NC (one of 14 locations across the globe).
