01. We’re not in the same city. Can we still work together?
Of course! That’s the beauty of being a web-based business. With today’s technology, we can utilize email, Google Hangouts, or an old-fashioned phone call to discuss your project. The process will be the same as if we were meeting a client in person. (We just won’t have the chance to buy you a coffee!)
As our client, you will also automatically have a “Client Dashboard” where we will keep any important documents between us, like contracts, invoices, project questionnaires, etc.
02. How do I know we’re a good match for each other?
The first thing you should do is read about us take a look at some of our previous work. After that, you’ll want to read some of the testimonials from our beloved clients (past and present). You can find those on our home page.
We love working with artisans and makers that create unique products for their customers. There are only a few requirements we have in working with you: be driven, open-minded, passionate, and willing to learn. We promise to return the favor. By the time we finish your project, you should feel invigorated, refreshed, and renewed so that you can continue to drive your business to success.
03. How long does it take to complete a project?
From beginning to launch, branding and web design projects typically take 6 weeks each. Of course, to stay within the deadlines of your project, there are some expectations on both sides to be met. For you, that includes following payment deadlines, completing questionnaires and submitting content on time.
Other projects involving one-off designs or photography services will range, but we will always be up-front about time involved and pricing. You can check out a full list of our services here!
04. Can we hire you for a smaller project like a flier or postcard?
Certainly. While branding and website design is our main focus for you, we will absolutely complete other projects as needed. That’s why we have compiled a list of à la carte services for you to choose from, ranging from business card design to photographing your event.
05. Can you manage the printing of my project?
Some clients may have preferred printing vendors for all of their projects, and we will make sure to follow each printer’s specific guidelines for the best quality products.
If you don’t have a clue about who you should use, we do have a list of recommended and trusted printers. Just ask us!
06. I know what I want my logo to be. Will you design it?
We only offer full branding services (and for good reason). We ask that you trust the process and trust our expertise during the process.
In this case of a one-off logo design, you are the designer, and you simply need a technician who can execute your idea using computer software. Sorry, we’re not the right fit for you.
07. Do you design for Shopify, Squarespace, or Wix websites?
At this time, we only offer web design services for WordPress websites. We think it’s better to specialize and do great work on one platform, rather than producing “okay” work on all platforms.
WordPress is our builder of choice simply for its robust features and the level of customizations you can do with it. It’s perfect for an all-in-one website that needs to have blogging, shopping, and project sharing capabilities.
08. Will you provide copywriting services for my project?
We can offer help with taglines or mission statements, but when it comes to your website, we expect you to gather all copy needed. That may mean you have to hire a copywriter. If you need suggestions for who to hire, we may be able to provide recommendations.
